The Treaty of Versailles, was it Fair or Not?

In my opinion, the Treaty of Versailles was unreasonable in the demands and restrictions that it levelled on Germany, which angered the German people and made them resent the Allies. Such anger could easily lead to war. The Treaty humiliated the Germans because it effectively gave the Allies control of the German army. For example, the Treaty dictated that the German army could not have an air force, and could not exceed a total of 100,000 soldiers. Meanwhile, only a small naval force was permitted and submarines were not allowed. The anger sowed by the Treaty paved the way for Hitler to rally the German people behind him. The German people wanted someone to blame their humiliation on, so Hitler targeted the Jews, a successful group of people who were also a minority and therefore easy to wipe out. Hitler brainwashed the German public into thinking that the Jews had caused all their misfortunes, so they would elect him as their Fürher in the belief that he could solve their problems and restore Germany to its former glory.
